CDE Credits will be offered
The Council consists of 7 members. The members consist of the Chief Medical Officer ex-officio and 6 Dentists (inclusive of one dental auxiliary) appointed by the Minister of Health, under the advice of the Bahamas Dental Association. Members work together to:
1. regulate the dental profession.
2. regulate the performance of services by dental auxiliaries.
3. establish appropriate training programmes for dental auxiliaries & services.
Monies collected from fees go toward defraying the Council’s administrative and operational costs.

Bahamians working abroad
If you are dentist, hygienist, technician or dental nurse working abroad, please feel free to register with the Bahamas Dental Council and tell us about yourself. Also feel free to ask any questions or voice any concerns.
